Esto es gracioso. Cuando estaba creando el blog, aparecen unos gadgets que pueden agregarse, como estos del costado derecho (las fotos, el perfil, etc)... Entre ellos había uno que se llamaba Beauty Tips (Consejos de Belleza). Como el blog iba a estar relacionado con el mundo de la moda, lo agregué abajo de todo. El consejo cambia todos los días.
This is funny. When I was creating the blog, you have this option that shows you gadgets that you can add to your blog like those on the right side (the photos, profile, etc.)... Among them, there was this one called Beauty Tips. As the blog would be related to the fashion world, I added it at the bottom of the page. The tip changes every day.
Esperaba consejos tontos (tontos pero útiles, jeje) así que me sorprendí mucho cuando vi el consejo de hoy. Lo traduzco:
"Edúcate en cultura. Mantente al día con las artes, cine, música, moda, noticias y todas las cosas nuevas y en onda".
Estaba muy bien. Y era muy real. Es realmente un consejo de belleza. Uno referido a nuestra belleza no sólo exterior, sino también a la interior. Porque una no es bella sólo porque te veas genial en tu ropa fabulosa ni sólo por la genética. La mente y el alma son parte del concepto de belleza también. Cuando hayan peinado ya unas cuantas canas como yo, sabrán que tengo razón... ;P
I was expecting silly tips (silly but still useful, hehe) so I was in awe when I saw today's tip. I quote:
"Educate yourself in culture. Stay on top of the arts, film, music, fashion, news and all things hip".
It was so good. And so real. It is a beauty tip indeed. One that relates to the beauty of us not just on the outside but on the inside too. Because you can't be beautiful just because you look great on your fab clothes or based on genetics only. The mind and the soul are part of the whole concept of beauty as well. Once you have a bunch of gray hairs as I do, you will know I'm right... ;P
